Elimination Communication

Arannila has taken to EC very well. I started at birth and now she pees whenever I put her on the potty and even when I put her over the sink. And she signals me. Like she is doing now. Well done Arannila. Even though it's a challenge doing EC in winter. .

Living in Australia

Well, we've been here since Dec 14th, 2009. Except for going back to Singapore to give birth, we've been here. Farid is flying back and forth and we do miss him. This time round, he's going to be away longer than a month. He'll be back 17th Oct, another 12 days. We miss him LOADS.

We are starting to be established. Making friends here. And hving playdates again. It's been totally busy but we are managing. Maybe house is not up to standards yet...but priority is the kids.

Nice to go through the baby stage again after so long. It's totally cute and I'm appreciating it now even more, knowing how quickly it passes. Witness her sister. When did she get to be five? Wow.

Birth

Arannila was born on June 23rd 2010. She was 3.31 kg and 50 cm long. Now, almost 15 weeks old (2 days short), she's 6 kg and 63 cm long. She's fully breastfed which is the only similarity with Arannatee when she was a baby. Now there are modifications to my mothering. She's not fully co-sleeping (she sleeps in a bassinet next to me) and I've used a pram sometimes (whereas Arannatee was worn almost the whole time). I do baby wear her when I breastfeed her. She's mostly stimulated by the musical mobile and her playgym. She rocks to sleep in her bouncer sometimes. She's very cute these days. Not turing yet. I think I remember Arannatee rolling over by this time. I have less time for her, poor girl, than I did Arannatee.
